Black Tier is the Lodge's resident circle — a membership capped at two hundred and twenty names. Members hold guaranteed villa availability on 48 hours' notice, a private locker in the wine vault, standing reservations at the Chef's Table, and entry to the year's closed-door calendar: winemaker suppers, regatta days and the winter jazz series.
Membership is held by application and the recommendation of an existing member. The committee meets monthly; privileges are deliberately quiet — no card to flash, only a number the whole house recognises.
